Comprehensive Planning Workgroup
Charge:  Oversee planning and work of all ARRA workgroups to ensure comprehensive approach across ARRA opportunites and vision of other LHCQF committees.

HIE/HIT Promotion Grants Workgroup (§3011 and §3013)
Charge:  Create and promote a statewide Health Information Exchange to support EHRs and PHRs.

Regional Extension Center Workgroup (§3012)
Charge:  Create an ARRA-funded REC to provide hands-on technical assistance to all providers in Louisiana.

Education Grants Workgroup (§3015 and §3016)
Charge:  Identify and expand existing clinical education and health informatics programs and apply for ARRA funds.

Broadband/Telemedicine Workgroup (Title VI)
Charge:  Assess current broadband and telemedicine infrastructure and apply for ARRA funds to enhance it.

Loan Program Grants (§3014)
Charge:  Identify funding sources (ARRA and other) to assist providers with EHR adoption.

Provider Incentives Workgroup (Title IV)

ONC Communications Workgroup
Charge:  Provide feedback directly to ONC regarding ARRA opportunities and disseminate information from ONC to workgroups and committees as appropriate.
