  Quality Forum, DHH To Discuss Partnership In Virtual Session

December-2015-calendarCindy Munn, Quality Forum CEO, along with Kathy Kleibert, Secretary of the Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH), Ruth Kennedy, Medicaid Director and J.T. Lane, Assistant Secretary of DHH, will participate in an online discussion on Dec. 18 about how the two organizations have collaborated to improve population health by transforming the state’s health care delivery system. The live conversation, conducted by The Milbank Memorial Fund and the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement (NRHI), will explore the unique partnership between state governments and regional health improvement collaboratives. Zionts Talks End-of-Life Care with LaPOST Coalition

HIMSS 2016 Conference Features Quality Forum Speakers

October-Jamie-NadineTwo representatives of the Quality Forum will be among the presenters at the 2016 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference in Las Vegas. Nadine Robin, Health IT Program Director, and Jamie Martin, Marketing and Communications Manager, will present, “Patient Engagement: No Diamond Ring Required,” on March 4. The presentation will detail the organization’s efforts to educate Louisiana patients in utilizing heath information technology (IT) tools and resources through a statewide consumer engagement campaign.
